Our Philosophy

Blyss is a tabletop scene design app built for everyday creators who love styling everyday objects with intention. We believe your creative process should remain personal and private. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have about your data when you design beautiful compositions with our app.

Basic device information (device type, operating system version)

How We Use Your Information

All your creative work is primarily used to deliver the core experience you expect from Blyss: helping you design beautiful tabletop compositions with food, stationery, decor, tableware, and other everyday objects. Specifically, we use your information to:

Save your finished layouts so you can revisit, compare, and organize them in your personal gallery

Maintain your personal inventory of item photos for easy reuse in future compositions

Enable precise object positioning: dragging, rotating, scaling, and layering on your virtual canvas

Maintain and improve our polished, immersive interface that makes composition planning a warm creative experience

Storage & Your Creative Control

By default, all your compositions, item photos, and gallery organization are stored locally on your device. We designed it this way because we believe your creative process should stay yours. If you choose to back up your data through your device's built-in backup system, your data will be subject to that backup provider's privacy policy. You can export your saved layouts and item inventory at any time, and you can delete any or all of your creative work directly from the app whenever you wish.

Sharing Your Information

We don't sell your personal information or your creative work to anyone. We only share your information in limited circumstances:

With your consent: When you choose to share your finished compositions with others through export or social sharing, you control what you share.
Service providers: We work with trusted third-party partners who help us deliver app functionality (like crash reporting and performance monitoring). These partners are bound by privacy agreements and can only use your data as we instruct them.
Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, to protect our rights, or to keep our community safe.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. Since most of your data lives on your device, we encourage you to keep your device software updated and use your device's built-in security features. No method of digital storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices & Rights

You have full control over your creative work:

Export your compositions and inventory at any time
Delete individual items, compositions, or all your data directly from the app
Control whether photos can be imported from your device's photo library
Request access to or correction of any personal information we hold about you

Children's Privacy

Blyss is not intended for use by children under the age of13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us at privacy@blyss.app and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, regulatory, or operational reasons. When we make changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this policy and notify you through the app when significant changes are made. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
